Longtime executive creative director Bill Bruce, who created campaigns for Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist and Aquafina is now the creative director at the BBDO's New York office. it was Bruce who devised the famous "Do the Dew" campaign that had catapulted Mountain Dew to the number three position in its category.
Each of the ads cost over a million dollars to produce, but the production costs were minor compared to the original $55 million media budget that would be committed to air the original spots.
